Are you looking for a quick and easy dinner?
This is a super easy recipe. It is simply, throw it all in a bowl, mix it together, roll it into balls, and pan-fry. YES, it really is that simple. The hardest part is just making sure you have the herbs and spices. And truthfully, you could probably skip some out and it would still taste good! But I used it exactly as listed in the recipe and I think they were the best burgers I have ever made!
These burgers have no fillers or added ingredients apart from meat, herbs, and spices. Pure, healthy, and nutrient-dense!

You can have these burgers with buns, salad, in a wrap, or lettuce wrap. My favourite is as shown, with bacon, avocado, and a little hard goats cheese. YUM!
Spicy Beef Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 kg beef mince
- 2 tsp paprika
- 2 tsp hungarian paprika (sweet paprika)
- 1 tsp quality salt (grey or pink)
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp cayenne pepper (use more or less depending on how much heat you want) I used ¼ tsp and it was mild in my opinion.
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, until herbs and spices are spread through the meat. Try not to over mix. Roll the mixture into balls approximately the size of a golf ball.
- Heat a large frypan on medium-high heat. I used a cast iron griddle pan so I didn't use any oil. But you may need a little oil to prevent the burgers from sticking.
- Place the beef balls onto the hot pan and flatten with the back of a spatula to your desired thickness.
- Cook for 5 to 10 minutes depending on the thickness of your burgers, then flip and cook the other side for a further 2 to 5 minutes. If you are not sure if they are cooked, cut open a burger to check they are cooked through.
