Dr. Anthea Holder
Chiropractor, Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioner – Burwood East
As a chiropractor and nutritionist in Burwood East, Anthea believes that the body is designed to be perfect, that it heals and repairs to the best of its ability. It just needs to be looked after, it needs to be provided with all of its needs: good movement, good food, good sleep and positive thinking, are all key elements to a healthy body.
Anthea has been practicing chiropractic for over 24 years and seen a vast number of different people achieve health and wellness. In recent times she has added nutritionist to her qualifications. With a love of food and wellness it was a natural addition to her qualifications. When a healthy, properly prepared, nutrient-dense, real food diet is combined with a fully functional spine and nervous system, people thrive.
Dr. Anthea Holder graduated from RMIT in 1999 with a double degree in Chiropractic Science and Applied Science – Clinical Science. She has also completed multiple postgraduate courses in paediatrics and is registered in the Webster Technique with the International Chiropractic Paediatric Association. She has had a strong interest in Wellness Chiropractic care and the care of the ‘whole’ person and therefore studied with Dr. James Chestnut’s program ‘Chiropractic and Wellness Lifestyle’. Her studies led her to the Nutritional Therapy Association where she studied to become a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner and is now a group leader helping train the next group of Nutritional Therapy students.
Dr. Anthea Holder added Functional Nutritionist qualifications to her qualifications in 2018. She studied with the Nutritional Therapy Association; she chose that group because their mission matched hers. To deliver a science-based education that fosters a community of confident holistic nutrition professionals who harness the power of real food and empower people to reconnect with the innate wisdom and unique needs of their bodies, thereby supporting lasting wellness.
