A healthy spine is usually well aligned, flexible and strong. This allows for healthy movement; healthy movement allows for healthy nerve function. When the spine and nervous system is compromised, this may affect daily function and could have adverse effects on your quality of life. How?
It’s very simple, your brain and nervous system is the controller of every function in your body. When it’s working without any interference and you body has all the ingredients, it can heal, repair, regenerate, regulate and develop to the best of its ability.
Your brain controls all functions of your body, from how fast your heart should beat, what enzymes to produce for digestion, when to produce them, how to move your body and perceive pain, temperature, touch and much, much, more. Your brain receives information and tells your body how to function via all the nerves travelling throughout your body.
Chiropractic care places an emphasis on having good nerve system communication between the brain and the body, ensuring there is no interference from lack of spinal motion. It also confirms the body has all the required ingredients to perform the healing, repair, regeneration, regulation and development. This means looking at the whole person. These ingredients the body requires could include, macro and micro nutrients, movement, sunlight, fun, joy, rest, sleep, and much more. Without the proper nerve function or the ingredients, the body cannot express vitality. But with good nerve function and with the ingredients the body should thrive and bloom.
